EU Imposes New Sanctions Against Venezuela

Export Controls: On 13 November 2017, the European Union imposed new sanctions against Venezuela, which will take effect from 14 November 2017. The sanctions include a prohibition on the supply of equipment which might be used for internal repression and new licensing requirements for the supply of equipment, technology or software intended primarily for use in communications monitoring or interception.
