Competition and Markets Authority Publishes Guidance on Approach to Leniency in Cartel Cases

Regulator Consultation: The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has published new guidance on its approach to handling applications from businesses seeking leniency from prosecutions and fines for cartel activity. The guidance explains that the CMA is now the first point of call for all leniency applications relating to the sectors covered by the UK Competition Network, which incorporates a number of regulators including Ofcom, Ofgem and the FCA.
