Government Consults on Control and Eradication of TSEs in Farming

Regulator Consultation: The government is seeking views from the farming industry on updating the rules for the prevention, control and eradication of TSEs, a family of diseases which include Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy in cattle and scrapie in sheep and goats. The proposals would bring regulations in line with the EU and update compensation rates.
