Competition and Markets Authority Launches Investigation into Hotel Booking Sites

Regulator Probe: The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has launched an investigation into hotel booking sites amid concerns that they could be misleading people, preventing them from finding the best deal and potentially breaking consumer law. The CMA will review a number of practices carried out by booking sites, including search results ranking, pressure selling and discount claims.
