EU Data Protection Watchdog Clarifies that GDPR Will not Apply Solely to Automated Processing

Industry Guidance: The Article 29 Working Party has clarified that laws under the General Data Protection Regulation which will place restrictions on the 'profiling' of individuals will not just apply to data processing completed entirely automatically. The laws could also apply to cases where humans, as well as machines, are involved in the processing.
