Law Firm Reveals Understanding of General Data Protection Lower Among SMEs than Large Firms

Industry Statistics: According to a survey from Collyer Bristow, 55% of UK SMEs are still not familiar with the General Data Protection Regulation, compared with 30% of larger companies. The survey also found that 18% of businesses would be at risk of going insolvent if they were forced to pay the new, higher maximum fines allowable.
