Government Deadline for Accepting Old £1 Coins

Deadline: 16th October 2017
Compliance Deadline: From 16 October 2017, the old round £1 coin will no longer be legal tender. Businesses will be able to refuse to accept the old coins and must ensure that all coin handling equipment is able to accept the new £1 coin.
