Survey Reveals Food Manufacturing Firms Inadequately Prepared for the General Data Protection Regulation

Industry Statistics: Over half (68%) of personnel at food and drink manufacturing companies have not received any General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Awareness Training, according to HR and payroll sourcing firm, MHR. A further 53% of companies have yet to assess and appoint a data privacy officer, a mandatory requirement for some companies under the GDPR.
