Lord Justice Jackson Unveils Proposals to Extend Fixed Recoverable Costs Regime

Law Consultation: Lord Justice Jackson has published proposals to extend fixed recoverable costs to a wider range of English civil court cases. The proposals include a new fixed cost 'intermediate' track for more complex cases up to a value of £100,000, and a voluntary cap on recoverable costs for cases in the Business and Property Courts up to a value of £250,000.
