EU Food Safety Authority Sets New Levels for Glutamate Food Additives

New: The European Food Safety Authority has set a new safe level for glutamate food additives. A daily intake level of 30 mg per kilo body weight per day has been set for six additives (glutamic acid, sodium glutamate, potassium glutamate, calcium glutamate, ammonium glutamate and magnesium glutamate).
