Bill to Increase Protections for Consumers Booking Holidays Online

Industry Regulation: Legislation which will extend protections enjoyed by consumers who book package deals through a travel operator to those who book holidays online is scheduled to come into effect in 2018. The Bill will also make it easier for UK firms to sell holidays across the EU, as they will be able to offer EU consumers the same protections they offer to UK consumers.
