Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to Raise Market Thresholds for Merger Investigations

Rate Change: The CMA has confirmed that it will raise the figure for markets considered as sufficiently important to warrant a merger reference from £10 million to £15 million. The figure for markets considered not sufficiently important to warrant a merger reference will be raised from £3 million to £5 million.
