Scotland Implements New Fatal Accidents Inquiry Law
Start Date: 15th June 2017
New: New rules aimed at modernising Scotland's fatal accident inquiries (FAIs) law came into force on 15 June 2017. Under the new rules, people and organisations subject to FAIs will be required to respond to recommendations made by sheriffs, setting out whether they have followed these recommendations or why they have chosen not to do so.
