EU Considers New Powers to Access Data Held by Tech Companies

Industry Regulation: EU law enforcement agencies could be given new powers to directly access data held by technology companies to aid terror investigations, according to Reuters. The Commission has said that additional privacy safeguards would accompany new powers of that kind.
