Firms Could be Forced to Pay Higher Wages for Zero-Hours Contracts

Government Policy: Matthew Taylor, who was appointed by Prime Minister, Theresa May, to lead a review into employment practices in the light of concerns about the gig economy, is considering a proposal to force businesses who employ people on zero-hours contracts to pay a premium wage.
