Tougher Driving Penalties in Force

Government Policy: Tougher penalties for mobile usage while driving came into force on 1 March 2017. Newly qualified drivers caught using a handheld mobile phone at the wheel will lose their licence. Penalty points and fines will double to six points and £200.
