Court Adviser Rules File-Sharing Websites Can Breach Copyright

Sector Regulations Ruling: Websites that link to infringing material but have no direct content can still be in breach of copyright, according to the advocate general to the Court of Justice of the European Union. In addition, the advocate general said that copyright owners can also get internet service providers to block access to the sites, subject to certain conditions.
