HMRC Warns on Importing HFC Pre-Charged Equipment

Warning: HMRC is warning that HFC pre-charged air conditioners or refrigeration units cannot be placed on the market unless they are accounted for within the F-gas quota system. From 2017, all refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump equipment charged with HFCs are now part of the HFC phase-down system, which was implemented under EU law in 2015.
