Scottish Court Rules on Repair Clauses and Landlord Compensation

UK Ruling: A Scottish court has ruled that it would be "a substantial and unjustified departure" from the wording of a dilapidations clause to allow a commercial property tenant to compensate its former landlord on the basis of the loss in property value at the end of a lease rather than the repair costs.
